Squeeze Inc.

A tiny anti-capitalist prototype with a trapdoor hidden in its daily grind.

Squeeze inc. is a short #ResistJam experiment about staying inside—or slipping out of—a system built around purchasing power. It plays in the browser, offers a pay-what-you-want Windows download, and deliberately withholds screenshots so its central turn lands on its own terms.

What is Squeeze Inc.?

This 2017 Unity prototype treats capitalism less like a spreadsheet and more like a pressure chamber. The creator frames the experience around the ordinary urge to keep chasing purchasing power even as larger companies consume more of the world around you. Its sharpest move is an early choice that quietly changes what winning means. The project page protects that reveal behind a spoiler divider, so the most rewarding route is to play first and read later. The result is compact, political, and intentionally more interested in leaving a thought behind than in building a long progression ladder.

What you can do there

  • Play through a capitalism-themed routine
  • Choose whether to remain in or leave the system

Why we picked it

Small game-jam projects can make a single mechanic carry a surprising amount of argument, and Squeeze inc. appears built around exactly that economy. Its withheld imagery, early fork, and upside-down definition of victory give the critique a playable shape instead of merely printing a slogan on the wall.

How to get the most from it

Start the browser build and avoid scrolling below the spoiler divider until you have made one attempt. Watch for choices available near the beginning; if the routine feels suspiciously compulsory, treat that discomfort as part of the design rather than a cue to rush past it.

Good to know

This is an English-language prototype from March 2017, made with Unity for #ResistJam. It is listed for HTML5 and Windows, and the download is name-your-own-price. Controls, sound, motion, saving, mobile support, and accessibility behavior are not documented, so expect a brief, somewhat opaque experiment rather than a polished commercial game.

Who made it, and when?

Potit Bob is the credited creator or organization. The earliest supported launch date we found is March 12, 2017.
