Rotato Disc Jam turns the scroll wheel into an entire control scheme for a quick succession of rotation-heavy rhythm games. Its cheerful cheese chase is built for a short desktop visit, with browser play and Windows downloads offered from the same page.

What is Rotato Disc Jam?

This jam-built offshoot of Rotato takes one ordinary desk gesture and keeps finding new excuses to use it. Instead of spreading attention across a full keyboard, the collection centers its little arcade trials on the wheel, ties them together with rhythm, and points the player toward a Golden Cheese. The result reads like a compact variety show for one neglected piece of mouse hardware: deliberately narrow, pleasantly odd, and short enough to sample between larger games. The page still labels the project in development, and its only documented patch arrived just after the 2020 jam deadline.

What you can do there

  • Scroll the mouse wheel through short rotation-focused challenges
  • Chase the Golden Cheese across the minigame set

Why we picked it

The mouse wheel is usually a hallway between paragraphs; here it gets the whole stage. That single-input constraint gives the collection a clear identity, while the rapid minigame format promises several riffs on rotation without demanding a long commitment.

How to get the most from it

Use a desktop mouse with a working scroll wheel and choose the browser launch for the quickest start. Give the collection a few minutes, follow each challenge's visual rhythm, and treat the Golden Cheese as the thread tying the small games together. Windows archives are also available from the page.

Good to know

The listing identifies Unity, HTML5 and Windows builds, mouse input, English text, and a session of a few minutes. It also self-reports one-button and color-blind-friendly support. Keyboard, touch, mobile, screen-reader, reduced-motion, current audio controls, and build parity remain unverified; the latest documented update is from November 2020.

Who made it, and when?

Ashes.gamedevs, Alvaro Marco, Bruno Pérez de Lema Sánchez, SantiDev, and Mario Lois is the credited creator or organization. The earliest supported launch date we found is October 31, 2020. A documented update was recorded November 1, 2020.
