What is Matchbox Momentos?

The humble matchbox becomes a ticket through Indian design history. Across 19 themed journeys, you gather labels from Gautam Hemmady's collection and encounter subjects ranging from cinema and musical instruments to industry, wildlife, and plants. The board-game structure borrows from Moksha Patam, giving the archive a sense of movement instead of presenting it as a wall of thumbnails. Each route also includes a contemporary special-edition work, making the project part preservation exercise and part visual remix.
