What is Inscrutable Instructions?
This exolinguistics puzzle splits play between a Unity browser scene and a separate manual written in a constructed alien language. The setup is wonderfully officious: extraterrestrials are testing whether humanity is smarter than a larva, and their maintenance paperwork is the only lifeline. Rather than handing over a tidy tutorial, the project encourages printing the PDF, marking it up, and assembling a lexicon from repeated symbols and consequences. Optional word sheets and a pronunciation guide push the fiction beyond a simple substitution cipher, though the latter may spoil some discovery.
