Henry Super Brain turns keyboard mapping into the puzzle. Link available inputs to movement and actions inside a stylized ferret brain, work around blocked connections, collect more wires, and help Henry navigate toward new friends. It is short, cheerful, and knowingly frustrating.

What is Henry Super Brain?

Most games ask you to learn the controls; this prototype asks you to build them. Henry starts with limited neural connections, so familiar key layouts may be unavailable. You experiment with odd input-action pairs, collect wires, chain multiple connections, and gradually turn an awkward scheme into something useful enough to cross the room and solve small puzzles. The simple map keeps attention on the clever inversion: the obstacle sits between hand and keyboard before it sits on screen.

What you can do there

  • Connect keyboard inputs to Henry's actions
  • Collect wires and chain new control mappings
  • Navigate the room and solve friend puzzles

Why we picked it

Henry Super Brain makes control friction the subject instead of an accident. Its central trick is immediately legible, but each extra wire opens a small burst of possibility. The ferret theme keeps the logic warm and playful, while the jam record and community response confirm that the mechanic holds up beyond the joke.

How to get the most from it

Test one key-to-action link at a time. When a conventional mapping is blocked, stop fighting it: try an inverse direction, add a second wire, or chain connections. Collecting more wires broadens your options. The final friend is deliberately harder, so a pause is more useful than random key mashing.

Good to know

The HTML5 build is hosted on itch.io and cannot appear inside Site Stumble's embedded viewer. It lists keyboard and mouse input, includes music and effects, and remains labeled a prototype. Some players found scar tissue, multi-wire linking, and the final cultist puzzle unclear; the creator acknowledged those clarity gaps.
