Frogged is a compact puzzle game built around a clean little headache: every movement command affects two frogs at once. Guide both toward separate goals while colored locks and walls that invert one axis steadily turn simple steps into careful choreography.
What is Frogged?
The shared-control premise makes every arrow key a negotiation. A move that helps one frog may strand the other, and later stages add colored keys, matching walls, and switches that reverse vertical or horizontal movement for only the frog that touches them. Beginner levels introduce the ideas with guidance; Advanced levels combine more of the machinery and explicitly refuse to line up by difficulty. Browser play sits beside Windows and Linux downloads, so the puzzle can travel outside its itch.io frame if needed.
What you can do there
- Move two frogs with one shared input
- Collect colored keys and reach separate goals
- Adapt each frog's direction controls with switching walls
Why we picked it
Two characters moving from one input is easy to explain and fertile enough to support real puzzle tension. Frogged keeps adding wrinkles without losing that central rule, and its game-jam feedback shows the same useful split the design aims for: approachable teaching followed by combinations that can make a confident solver croak under their breath.
How to get the most from it
Begin with the Beginner group and watch both frogs before committing each move. Use Q and E to rotate the camera, R to restart a level, and Escape to return to the menu. When a colored wall changes one frog's direction, pause and mentally separate its horizontal and vertical controls before moving again.
Good to know
The released Unity game supports keyboard play in HTML5 plus Windows and Linux downloads with name-your-own-price checkout. Advanced stage numbers do not represent a difficulty order. Live audio, browser performance, persistence, touch support, accessibility, and full completion behavior were not verified, and no screenshot was captured. Its frame policy permits embedding only on itch.io, so Site Stumble should keep it directory-only.
