Deliver To Whence You Came

Deliver dinner across a landscape that would rather join the meal.

A compact physics puzzle-platformer where a routine delivery turns into negotiations with worm-like terrain. Kick an orb, plant lures, and coax the floor into becoming a route—while accepting that the route has opinions of its own.

What is Deliver To Whence You Came?

Deliver To Whence You Came starts with a simple job: move a meal to the far side of each room. The trick is that the scenery is less solid than it first appears. Sections of ground can stir into long, hungry creatures, and a lure lets you persuade that living terrain to bend, bunch up, clear a passage, or fling the orb—and occasionally you—somewhere useful. The result sits between platforming and a physics toy. A solution can look planned, improvised, or like a lucky disagreement with gravity. The short sequence keeps introducing variations instead of stretching one gag, and the creator's post-jam update added a moss garden, extra levels, steadier worm behavior, and a procedural finale. Its dark pixel garden and credited soundtrack give the delivery a quietly peculiar mood without explaining away the surprise.

What you can do there

  • Kick a meal toward each exit
  • Use lures to reshape living terrain
  • Improvise routes through physics puzzles

Why we picked it

The best puzzle is not merely finding a path but convincing the path to exist. That living-floor idea produces a memorable reveal, permits scrappy alternate solutions, and gives a 15-to-30-minute game more personality than many much larger platformers.

How to get the most from it

Use right-click to kick, R to restart a room, and Backspace to pause. The page keeps the left-click action mysterious; let that reveal arrive on its own. When the terrain becomes unruly, make small lure adjustments before trying a heroic physics launch.

Good to know

The browser edition is free, while desktop downloads are offered at a name-your-own-price rate. Plan on keyboard and mouse and finish in one sitting: the creator says there is no save option. Moving terrain can be imprecise, and the page does not document touch controls or accessibility settings. Music is part of the intended atmosphere.
