You found nothing. begins as a deadpan search-button joke and slowly sprouts a shop, dwarves, vegetables, mines, coffee, rats, cats, and other evidence that nothing has gotten wildly out of hand. It is a free, one-button incremental toy with excellent comic timing and a stubbornly straight face.

What is You Found Nothing?

The first instruction could fit on a sticky note: press Search and see what turns up. Early results are mostly text and deliberately useless debris, but repetition starts opening trapdoors. A shop appears. A dwarf mines gold. Vegetables grow, a gardener can automate planting, researchers and mines join the machinery, and recent updates have added everything from personality stats to bakers and cats. The comedy comes from that mismatch between the title's shrug and the increasingly busy settlement hiding behind it. What looks like one joke is actually a patient reveal machine with a rubber duck somewhere in the gears.

What you can do there

  • Press Search to uncover text and objects
  • Wait for hidden systems to reveal themselves
  • Grow a strange economy of shops, dwarves, farming, and mining

Why we picked it

A one-button gag that refuses to remain one gag is exactly the sort of small-web mischief Site Stumble likes. Its plain presentation makes every new system feel like contraband, and the seven-year jump between update waves adds an extra wink: even nothing can come back with a content patch.

How to get the most from it

Keep pressing Search after the first few repeated-feeling results and watch for changes in the text and interface. Give the page enough time to reveal its shop and workers before deciding you have reached the whole joke. The profile estimates roughly half an hour, so this rewards a little more patience than a single-click novelty.

Good to know

The project is still marked in development and received several substantial updates in August and September 2026. A creator post says progress autosaves in browser local storage, but that behavior was not retested on the current build; clearing site data may therefore be risky. One-button, subtitles, mouse, and smartphone support are declared, while present-day accessibility and audio behavior remain unverified.
