What is Tech Tycoon?

A garage startup can become a sprawling tech business in Tech Tycoon, but the game keeps asking what that growth should cost. Product specs, pricing, staffing, research, market share, and corporate deals all feed into the same moving machine. You can focus on a carefully tuned product line, make a bid for a competitor, or take the company public and watch the valuation become another problem to manage. The real-time clock can be paused, which makes room to inspect the dashboard before a decision snowballs. Its later development notes also point to changing product lifecycles, tougher market competition, objectives, and an importable mod system, so this is a simulation built for repeat experiments rather than one perfect run.
