Claim the page in loops, then pray nobody clips your loose end.

Paper.io at paperio.site is a browser take on the familiar territory-grab formula: steer away from your safe color, close a loop to annex the space inside, and cut exposed rivals before they return the favor. The rules are compact enough for a quick round, while World Map, country competition, team play, and link-based private rooms offer a few ways to repaint the battlefield.

What is Paper.io?

Every expansion is a tiny dare. Inside your own color you are safe; the moment you head into blank space, your trailing line becomes an invitation for somebody else to slice through it. Reconnect that line and the enclosed patch changes hands. The site documents mouse, WASD, arrow-key, and touch steering across its alternate-mode pages, plus private rooms that can be shared by link. That turns a one-rule arcade loop into a surprisingly twitchy contest of geometry, timing, and knowing when a grand land grab has become plain greed.

What you can do there

  • Steer a moving marker to enclose territory
  • Cut opponents' exposed trails
  • Try alternate map and private-room modes

Why we picked it

The mechanic explains itself in a sentence but keeps generating readable little dramas: an ambitious loop, a sudden interception, a narrow retreat. Alternate maps and invite-link rooms give this particular web stop more shape than a single endless arena.

How to get the most from it

Begin with small loops close to home so your exposed trail stays short. Watch nearby borders before making a wide sweep, and use mouse, arrow keys, or WASD where the selected mode supports them. Try a private room when you want a shared link instead of an open arena.

Good to know

The live game, opponents, audio, ads, and room flow were not executed during review, so current behavior may differ from the descriptive pages. Voodoo identifies itself as the official Paper.io 2 publisher, but no relationship between Voodoo and paperio.site was established. Keyboard and touch controls are documented; broader accessibility remains untested.
