What is A Better World?
The home screen starts with a clean English-or-French fork. Inside, a timeline marks changeable dates, then each selected episode narrows into two interventions: encourage an empire outward, steer an expedition somewhere stranger, and so on. The payoff is speculative prose rather than a map or physics model. Choices reshape later events, karma supplies a running verdict, and completed timelines can join a sprawling public table. It is part history quiz, part domino machine, and happiest when a sensible choice produces an absurd century.

Follow the consequence link and keep going instead of optimizing immediately; the oddest chains are the point. The shared timeline table contains visitor-supplied names and titles, including occasional crude language.
